Kai Wong has been practicing martial arts for more than 10 years, with five years of Wushu training and eight years of Kickboxing experience. He has been coaching since 2022.
Kai takes a thoughtful and progressive approach to teaching. He likes to begin classes by reviewing the fundamentals before introducing new material. Students can then explore simple applications of what they have learned, followed by more challenging or creative applications when time allows.
For Kai, learning should be both productive and enjoyable. He believes that giving students a glimpse of more advanced techniques can help spark curiosity and show them that there is always something new to discover.
Throughout his own martial arts journey, Kai has had the opportunity to learn from instructors and fellow students with a wide range of experience and skill. He considers it a privilege to now have the opportunity to help others along their own martial arts journeys.
Kai hopes to pass that same encouragement and generosity forward by creating an environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and enjoying the process.
