Founded in 2000, the Chinese Martial Arts Academy has been serving Saskatoon and the surrounding area for over 25 years, proudly celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2025. What began as a small group of individuals training together to stay active has grown into Saskatchewan's premier wushu and kickboxing academy, offering programs for students ages 3 and up.

Our classes include traditional and modern wushu (kung fu), kickboxing, tai chi, self-defense, and recreational and competitive training. Whether your goal is to improve fitness, build confidence, learn self-defense, or compete at the highest levels, our experienced instructors provide a supportive and positive environment for every student.

The Chinese Martial Arts Academy has a proven tradition of excellence. We are home to WKA National and International Kickboxing Champion, and our wushu athletes have earned medals at both national and international competitions. We are also proud to be the only martial arts academy in Saskatchewan to have athletes selected to the Canadian Wushu Team, representing Canada at the Pan American Wushu Championships, World Wushu Championships, and the World University Games.

Beyond the gym, we are committed to sharing Chinese martial arts and culture with our community. Our students regularly perform at local events, including Chinese New Year celebrations, Saskatoon Folkfest (Chinese and Asia Pacific Pavilions), and Rock Your Roots.
